{"id":16930,"date":"2026-04-20T14:28:36","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T12:28:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeastronomiespa.be\/astrogas\/?p=16930"},"modified":"2026-04-20T14:28:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T12:28:36","slug":"16930-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeastronomiespa.be\/astrogas\/16930-2\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>M 106<\/p>\n<p>M106 (ou NGC 4258) est une vaste galaxie spirale interm\u00e9diaire visible au printemps, principalement entre mars et mai, dans l\u2019h\u00e9misph\u00e8re nord.<br \/>\nElle est situ\u00e9e dans la constellation des Chiens de chasse, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la Grande Ourse.<br \/>\nElle se trouve \u00e0 environ 23,5 millions d\u2019ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re de la Terre.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, elle ressemble \u00e0 de nombreuses autres galaxies de son type, avec ses bras spiraux gracieux, riches en \u00e9toiles jeunes et bleues, et son bulbe central plus \u00e2g\u00e9 et jauni.<br \/>\nCe qui distingue M106, c\u2019est son activit\u00e9 galactique intense, provoqu\u00e9e par un trou noir supermassif en son centre, d\u2019environ 40 millions de masses solaires.<br \/>\nElle \u00e9met un rayonnement anormalement fort, notamment en ondes radio et en infrarouge.<br \/>\nSa particularit\u00e9 la plus remarquable ? La pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un m\u00e9gamaser \u00e0 vapeur d\u2019eau. (Un maser est l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent d&rsquo;un laser fonctionnant dans le domaine des micro-ondes au lieu de la lumi\u00e8re visible)<\/p>\n<p>Ce m\u00e9gamaser est un amplificateur naturel d\u2019ondes radio, cr\u00e9\u00e9 par des mol\u00e9cules d\u2019eau en orbite autour du trou noir.<br \/>\nCe ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne rare permet de mesurer directement sa distance via la m\u00e9thode de parallaxe g\u00e9om\u00e9trique, ind\u00e9pendamment des mod\u00e8les cosmologiques.<br \/>\nCe noyau actif fait d\u2019elle une galaxie de type Seyfert, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire une galaxie dont le centre brille fortement \u00e0 cause de l\u2019accr\u00e9tion de mati\u00e8re. Cette activit\u00e9 nucl\u00e9aire provoque des jets d\u2019\u00e9nergie et des anomalies dans la structure spirale.<br \/>\nEn engloutissant la mati\u00e8re environnante (gaz, poussi\u00e8re et \u00e9toiles), le trou noir forme un disque d\u2019accr\u00e9tion surchauff\u00e9.<br \/>\nDes processus magn\u00e9tiques complexes au sein de ce disque expulsent une partie de cette mati\u00e8re \u00e0 des vitesses prodigieuses, perpendiculairement au disque.<br \/>\nCes jets de plasma traversent le disque galactique, chauffant le gaz sur leur passage et le faisant briller intens\u00e9ment en H\u03b1 (en rouge), mais aussi en rayons X et en ondes radio.<\/p>\n<p>Comme on le voit sur la photo annot\u00e9e, cette r\u00e9gion est peupl\u00e9e de galaxies proches de M 106 mais \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s \u00e9loign\u00e9es.<br \/>\nNGC 4217 par exemple est \u00e9loign\u00e9e d&rsquo;environ 58 million d&rsquo;AL, et NGC 4226 entre 360 et 388 million AL&#8230;<br \/>\nLes galaxies du catalogue \u00ab\u00a0PGC\u00a0\u00bb (Principal galaxies catalogue) sont elles encore plus \u00e9loign\u00e9es comme PGC 213962 qui est estim\u00e9e \u00e0 un \u00e9loignement d&rsquo;environ 428 million d&rsquo;AL&#8230;.et PGC 2297038 de 932 million d&rsquo;AL&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Cette photo est le r\u00e9sultat de seulement 5h1\/4 de prises de vues et de 227 photos au total.
