Hola,<\/p>\n

La Seule consolation que l’on a \u00e0 Paranal lorsque la m\u00e9t\u00e9o est mauvaise, ce sont de superbes couchers de Soleil !
\nAinsi il y a quelques jours (le 25\/10), on a pu voir un tr\u00e8s joli \u00ab\u00a0Sun pilar\u00a0\u00bb s’\u00e9lever au dessus du Soleil couchant.<\/p>\n

Ce genre de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne se forme quand la lumi\u00e8re du Soleil se r\u00e9fl\u00e9chit sur la surface de cristaux de glace qui se trouvent dans des nuages de tr\u00e8s haute altitude (comme les cirrostratus). En fait, tous ces cristaux de forme plate sont en train de tomber (en restant orient\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on horizontale); ce qui forme cette \u00e9trange colonne de lumi\u00e8re (qui est la direction pr\u00e9f\u00e9rentielle o\u00f9 la lumi\u00e8re se refl\u00e8te).
