J’ai r\u00e9cemment visit\u00e9 l’observatoire de Daniel Verschatse, un belge install\u00e9 au Chili depuis plus de 10 ans. Il a install\u00e9 son site dans les montagnes (2000m) pr\u00eat de Los Andes (80 km au Nord de Stgo). Il a un superbe t\u00e9lescope Ritchey Chretien de 35cm sur monture astrophysics AP1200 GTO (comput\u00e9ris\u00e9e) install\u00e9 sous une coupole de type clamshell de 3.5m de diam\u00e8tre. <\/p>\n

Il r\u00e9alise avec cette instrumentation de l’imagerie haute r\u00e9solution du ciel profond avec une CCD SBIG ST10-XE.
\nIl vient aussi d’acqu\u00e9rir la derni\u00e8re cam\u00e9ra SBIG de 11M de pixel… pour quand le seeing est moins bon que 2 arcsec (cette cam\u00e9ra a des plus gros pixels) et poss\u00e8de aussi un abris \u00e0 toit roulant sous lequel sont install\u00e9es deux lunettes Astrophysics Apo, la 155 mm et la Traveler, toutes les deux mont\u00e9es sur une AP900; pour r\u00e9aliser des photos grand champ.
\nBref un petit observatoire de r\u00eave sous un ciel superbe.<\/p>\n
