\nLa n\u00e9buleuse du Crabe (M1 ou NGC 1952) est un nuage de gaz en expansion situ\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 6 500 ann\u00e9es lumi\u00e8re dans la constellation du Taureau et provient de l’explosion d’une supernova observ\u00e9e le 4 juillet 1054.
\nPendant 23 jours, l’\u00e9toile fut visible en plein jour, \u00e9clairait quatre fois plus fort que V\u00e9nus et avait une magnitude apparente d’environ -6.
\nAu centre de la n\u00e9buleuse se trouve le pulsar du Crabe ; il s’agit d’une \u00e9toile \u00e0 neutrons d’environ 10 \u00e0 30 km de diam\u00e8tre, entour\u00e9e d’un reste de supernova.<\/p>\n
