\nDistante de 13 millions AL, cette galaxie spirale se situe \u00e0 150.000 AL de M82 avec laquelle elle interagit. En fait, des ponts de gaz subsistent entre les deux galaxies, et les barres assym\u00e9triques (donc d\u00e9form\u00e9es) de poussi\u00e8re proches du noyau r\u00e9sultent de cet effet de mar\u00e9e. La faible galaxie irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re naine Holmberg IX, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 gauche, est probablement un r\u00e9sidu de la rencontre entre M81 et M82.<\/p>\n
