Cette belle \u00ab\u00a0n\u00e9buleuse plan\u00e9taire\u00a0\u00bb (qui n’a rien de plan\u00e9taire si ce n’est son nom) est le r\u00e9sultat visuel de l’explosion de son \u00e9toile centrale.
\nDistante d’environ 900 Ann\u00e9es Lumi\u00e8res elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte par Charles Messier en \u00e9t\u00e9 1764 (Ce Cher Charles \u00e9tait surnomm\u00e9 le \u00ab\u00a0chasseur de com\u00e8tes\u00a0\u00bb par Louis XV).
\nLa vitesse d’expansion des n\u00e9bulosit\u00e9s lui donnerait un \u00e2ge d’environ 4000 ans. Ce grand objet offre une dimension visuelle de 8 X 5,7 min.d’arc, presque 1\/4 de pleine Lune ! Tout le monde connait \u00e7a.
\nUne furtive \u00e9claircie \u00e0 Rixensart, durant la nuit du 10 au 11\/08\/13 a offert ce cr\u00e9neau.
